The cottage is a genuine home from home. Every room was excellently furnished and there was bags of room for our family. The kitchen in particular had everything you might ever need! The host really has thought that of everything. Views to the front over the loch were stunning and the back garden was excellent for my 7 year old lad to go exploring.  Shieldaig is a gorgeous wee village, with a great cafe and restaurant/pub. Shieldaig peninsula walk was beautiful as was the drive/cycle around the coast and over the Bealack na Ba to Applecross. Loved it and will be back!

Recommend it......No way! I want it all to myself!! (Only joking - of course!)
Excellently appointed
Very clean
Great to get a call from Anne at the start & end
Attention to detail; books, games, cupboard contents etc.
House amazing with everything u need
The cottage was excellent with beautiful views to top it off. It was clean and with all the modern essentials you need. Beautifully decorated and very welcoming. Everything you need
April - Superb location
The Cottage Corran is very generously equipped and spacious, and benefits from a wonderful location close to the pier in Shieldaig. I really appreciated the call from the owner on the day of arrival to welcome and resolve any problems. As it happens there was an irritation probably caused by a previous tenant that was quickly put right by a short discussion. I was concerned on arrival that parking close to the property was not guaranteed, but in practice we had little problems despite a couple of rallies during our weeks stay. We were lucky enough to see an otter crossing the road near the cottage as well as seals in the loch and numerous sightings of red deer. This must be one of the best places to stay on the shores of greater Loch Torridon.
Wonderful cottage in an excellent location. Very well equipped.
April - Very comfortable holiday cottage right in the village of Shieldaig. The drying room was a particular bonus. Was there for the hill walking, the cottage provides an excellent welcoming base for this. Easy access to many nearby Munro's and Corbett's. There's a hotel with attached restaurant and bar which serves decent meals, a cafe about three doors down from the cottage and a small village shop. Boat trips from just over the road can be organised too.

Another fabulous stay in lovely Shieldaig, at this beautiful, clean cosy cottage. Very well appointed and has everything we could possibly need. The washing machine and tumble dryer are a godsend with small children! Great meals at Nanny's, Applecross Inn and Torridon Inn.
Lovely walks around shieldaig, and Beine Damh.
March - Wonderful cottage, not only in regards to it's location but also it's facilities. Thank-you for taking the time and thought to consider what guests might need for their stay (especially the number and size of pans for cooking, amount of crockery and cutlery, fridge size, drying facilities etc.)
March - Corran cottage is a beautiful and cosy cottage which is extremely well equipped and fully modernised without having lost any of its character. Shieldaig is a stunning location and there's great places to visit and explore close by.
March - Fabulous place.
Exremely well equipped, warm and comfortable. Big and warm beds and plenty of spare pillows etc. Good drying facilities (important most of the time and especially in winter). Could do with a KeySafe outside 'round the rear to store key when people return at different times. Hob needs a bit of practice but works well when mastered! Thanks for a marvellous cottage.

Fabulous house fitted out and decorated to perfection .Clearly a much loved family home as well . Crockery and kitchen utensils included everything that you could possibly need . Internet radios were great .Superb showers and bath. Loved the utility room with the airing rack .Immaculate, pristine and easily the best holiday rental we have stayed in .Many thanks for a brilliant week
Sadly we are now totally dissatisfied with our own home !
A beautiful house in a wonderful location overlooking the Old Pier on the shores of Loch Shieldaig. A very well equipped large dining kitchen, nothing we were short of during our stay. The upstairs lounge was large and had lovely views over the Loch. Well designed accommodation and obviously well cared for by the owners.
Pier House is impeccable, beautifully presented with thought to/for anything which one might need or want. Comfy beds, nice curtains with light blocking blinds and all possible kitchen and other mod cons. Highly recommend.
We loved our stay at Pier House. The house was so comfortable and cosy. It was perfect for us and our extended family. Tastefully decorated, warm and welcoming, we felt immediately at home here. The facilities were excellent, particularly the toasty utility room which helped to dry our walking gear every night! We would not hesitate to recommend the Pier House to friends and family.
Walking is superb in this area, with walks to suit all ages and levels of fitness. The pier has excellent facilities for kayaks and boat trips. A trip with Torridon Sea Tours is a must do. The office is just across the road. Susan at the pier sells fabulous sea food and we would highly recommend her lobsters! We ate well at the Shieldaig Bar and Coastal Kitchen which is only steps from the Pier House, the Torridon Hotel restaurant and at Gille Brighde restaurant in Diabaig which was our favourite of all. We bought our bread and jam from the Swallow bakery in the village - highly recommended.
Lovely house with clean, spacious rooms. House is upside down so frontroom has great views and a fabulous fire place. Great garden too.
The house was above our expectations - brilliant guest information
We had a wonderful stay at your beautiful holiday home in Shieldaig. Every detail had been thought of and we had everything we needed for a lovely long weekend. The location was amazing and we will definitely recommend the Pier House to anyone considering a stay over on the West Coast.
Fantastic house, you have thought of everything. And in a lovely location with unusually good range of cafe/shop/bar/restaurant/smokery.
Excellent. Spotless and well equipped. Website does not do property justice. We were dazzled when we walked in compared to what we'd seen online

Pier house was such a pleasure to stay in, beautifully decorated, well thought out and immaculate with great views of the loch and island shieldaig - the sky lights in the bathroom meant we even spied a few of the birds whilst brushing our teeth!
The house is brilliantly well stocked with all the pots, pans, cake tins you could ever ask for and more to create an almighty feast after a long walk.
Booking was straightforward. Pier House has all the amenities one could wish for - made for a very comfortable and stress free stay.
Excellent location, very peaceful surroundings, view of the loch whilst having our meals was a pleasure. The house is of a high standard in all respects, lovely and warm, with comfortable beds.
If you fancy a spot of easy fishing the pontoon in the village is a must. My husband did a canoe trip around the island and saw lots of local wild life , including otters . Local artists work is a treat, bought a wonderfully turned creation made of local monkey puzzle tree wood , a rare find
Beautiful house in an ideal position by the jetty at Shieldaig and surrounded by awesome Hoghland scenery. Downstairs bedroom with ensuite is particularly good for someone with limited mobility. The restaurant at Diebaig is nice(details in house).
